Resource Room –
Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Computer Labs
available for public use. Also available: internet, job search & resume writing
assistance, up-to-date job listings from regional employers, school and
educational resources, information on careers, job market information,
newspapers, community resource information, computer tutorials, videos, &
Handicapped assessable computer equipped with SmartView. Free telephone, fax,
copiers, computers, printers as well as postage services are also available.
Employment Services & Veterans

TABE Testing –
Each Friday, 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.
This is a tool that measures grade level and achievement. If you are interested
in this service, please call Debbie Scott at 740-432-2381 x 2232.
WIA General Orientation –
Every Monday & Wednesday 10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
This will introduce participants to the general requirements of the Workforce
Investment Act program. Topics will include eligibility, how WIA can help you in
education, training, and employment, funding, & Core Services available to
general public. Now, employers and job-seekers need make only one stop to take
advantage of all the help available to them. We provide this help by tapping
into a wide array of employment services, training programs and informational
resources on the local and state level. WALK-INS WELCOME!!
Job
Seeker Workshop – Every
Monday & Wednesday 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
This hour long workshop will introduce the serious Job Seeker to tips and
strategies to make their search successful. Topics will include resume
development, cover letters, interviewing techniques, job retention issues,
information about in-demand jobs, & other related topics. Our goal is to bring
qualified workers and area employers together. We also provide information on
supportive services such as transportation and child care. We want to provide
you with the dedicated assistance to ensure your success in finding the right
job!! WALK-INS WELCOME!!
